Proud Dad

This is one of my all time favorite pictures. I have ‘better’ pictures but, they say “a picture paints a thousand words,” and certainly that is more than true in this case for me. These are MY boys!

Take a look at what I see in this picture…
Robert, on the left, is the older of the two. Robert has some special challenges that he has struggled with all his life and will on into the future. He’s a fantastic son.
Cody, the giant on the right, is making sure his ‘big’ brother has his tie tied just the way they both want it.
Nothing too unusual you might think but we’ve come a very long way to get to this place. He’s a fantastic son.

But I see something much deeper. I’m looking at their eyes and reading the silent speech going on.
Listen in carefully and you can ‘hear’ some of that silent conversation captured in this one picture…

“Will it be alright?”
“Sure - I’ve got you!”
“Do you think Mum will like how we look?”

“Numpty, Mum just likes us hanging around with her once in a while!”

“That’s because se loves us right?”

“Right.”
